Bio

My journey to becoming a songwriter, singer, and author with a love for music started early in Buffalo, New York, where I was born and raised.

In my childhood church, I became inspired as I watched my mother sing in the choir each Sunday.

Watching her express herself through song inspired me to become hooked on music at a young age. The melodic blend of her voice joining in with each instrument was beautiful. From then on, I knew I wanted to sing.

My goal is to use my gift and passion for music to bring encouragement and hope to those experiencing life challenges in troubled times.

Awards & Honors

Since moving to Atlanta, Georgia, I have continued to pursue my love for music as an independent artist. In 2016, I recorded an EP titled God's Thoughts.

My single, For I Know the Thoughts was #1 for several weeks on WGPN Radio Atlanta Gospel Chart and #2 on the Top 25 songs on Syndicated United Praise Radio.

I've also had the honor of being nominated for:

National Female Artist and New Artist of the Year in 2021 by the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards.
Best Female Artist Traditional and Video of the year for the Prayze Factor Awards.

Personal & Music Background

I believe that as a musician, we should use our gift to benefit others in any way we can. This belief has guided me to sing at events like:

Daughter of Music Artist Stand Against Sex Trafficking
Hosea Feed the Hungry
Holiday Relief Drive "My Brother's Keeper."

As a young adult, I was a member of the Emmanuel Temple Youth and Young Adult Choir and also sang choir in school and throughout the city of Buffalo. My musical influences include Bishop Walter Hawkins, Oleta Adams, Bonnie Rait, The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan and Earth Wind, and Fire.
